Perpetual is looking for independent, driven, detail-oriented candidates to work with a small, full-time cultivation team at its Millbury facility. Ideal candidates will be familiar with working in a manufacturing or industrial agriculture setting and have a strong desire to cultivate cannabis of the highest quality within an extremely controlled environment. Candidates must be reliable and dependable, with a good work ethic, be eager to learn, and be open-minded. The Cultivation Assistant will assist in all stages of plant production and will work toward demonstrating task mastery for all essential phases of cultivation. Candidates will be working within a team, following standard operating procedures defined for facility staff and the stages of plant production. Facility staff must maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in the working and growing areas and thus will assist in the general care and cleaning of the cultivation facility.
Due to cannabis industry regulations all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive CORI clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. We are looking for candidates that have completed high school or are GED graduates. Physical requirements include being able to use scissors or cutting blades quickly and safely for prolonged periods as well as stand for prolonged periods while performing repetitive tasks. Also required is the ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without negative allergic consequences. The candidate must be able to lift, push, pull material up to 50 pounds and safely push/pull work carts up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required by this job which include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
